Dry-mixed recycling waste consists of cardboard, paper, plastic, steel and aluminium cans. When not contaminated by other waste, these reusable materials can be separated through manual and automated processes at your local recycling centre via manual picking, magnets, reverse magnets, size-sorting equipment and conveyor belts.
